Job Summary
The role involves the management, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Red Hat, Oracle, and Solaris UNIX servers within a data center setting. The position includes the development and implementation of standard operating procedures, with a focus on system hardening and security reporting.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the operation and upkeep of UNIX servers in a data center environment.
- Create and implement standard operating procedures for server management.
- Conduct system hardening to enhance security measures.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive security reports.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to UNIX systems as they arise.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of experience in UNIX systems administration.
- Valid Secret security clearance is required.
- CompTIA Security+ certification is essential.
- Experience working within government federal environments is preferred.
