Job Summary
The Shipping and Warehouse Manager plays a vital role in overseeing the shipping and receiving operations, ensuring efficient management of warehouse inventory, and facilitating the logistics processes. This position is essential for maintaining operational excellence and achieving organizational objectives through effective team leadership and resource allocation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily shipping and receiving activities to ensure efficiency and compliance with company standards.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate regular stock audits to maintain optimal inventory accuracy.
- Lead and motivate the warehouse team to achieve high performance and compliance with safety regulations.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve warehouse processes and shipping efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to address issues related to shipping and inventory management.
- Monitor performance metrics and generate reports for management to inform decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in warehouse management and shipping operations.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work within a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
