Job description
The Software License Manager will direct organization-wide software asset management in a multifaceted Department of Defense setting, focusing on procurement, governance, and compliance. This role involves working closely with senior leadership and technical teams to enhance software investment efficiencies, manage vendor partnerships, and guarantee compliance with federal contracting regulations. Applicants should hold an active DoD Secret security clearance and have a minimum of 15 years of comprehensive IT experience, including 8 years specifically dedicated to DoD or federal software asset management. A bachelor’s degree and ITIL Foundation certification are essential, along with extensive knowledge of SAM platforms and licensing models.
