Job description
Job Summary
The Software Quality Assurance Analyst plays a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. This position focuses on testing applications to identify defects, ensuring compliance with standards, and enhancing overall user satisfaction through rigorous quality assurance processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and design specifications.
- Identify, document, and track defects through reporting systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand functional requirements and improve software quality.
- Conduct regression testing and verify that issues have been resolved.
- Support the rollout of software releases and evaluate system performance.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on software design and architecture.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in software testing with a strong understanding of QA methodologies and processes.
- Proficient in writing detailed, clear, and comprehensive test cases and documentation.
- Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks is preferred.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with various stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
