Sterile Processing Supervisor

Sterile Processing Supervisor will oversee and coordinate the activities of our sterile processing team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of sterile processing techniques, equipment, and procedures, along with strong leadership and organizational skills.
SPD Supervisor Responsibilities:
Direct and oversee the daily activities of the sterile processing team, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
Ensure that all medical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized according to established protocols and industry standards, including cleaning, decontamination, assembly, packaging, and sterilization processes.
Monitor and maintain the quality and integrity of sterile processing activities, conducting regular inspections, and implementing corrective actions as needed to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and infection control standards.
SPD Supervisor Requirements:
CRCST or CBSPD certification.
Minimum of 3 years of experience working in sterile processing, with demonstrated proficiency in sterilization techniques and equipment.
Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role preferred.
Strong knowledge of infection control principles, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks, problem-solve, and work effectively under pressure.
