Speech-Language Pathologist – PRN

Job description

Job Summary

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – PRN provides crucial assessment and therapeutic services to clients with communication and swallowing disorders. The SLP will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to enhance the quality of life for these individuals by developing personalized treatment plans and implementing effective interventions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments of communication abilities and swallowing function.
  • Develop tailored treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
  • Implement speech and language therapy sessions.
  • Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and family members to support client outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
