Job Summary
The role involves assessing patients in areas such as speech, language, cognitive abilities, and swallowing. In addition to evaluations, the professional will create tailored treatment plans aimed at enhancing patient outcomes. Collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams is essential to deliver comprehensive therapy services.
Responsibilities
- Perform evaluations related to speech, language, cognitive functions, and swallowing for patients.
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment results.
- Provide therapy services to assist patients in achieving improved functional capabilities.
- Work alongside physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Qualifications
- Possession of a current, valid, and unencumbered Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
- Experience with home health and OASIS/Medicare documentation is preferred, though not mandatory.
