Spring 2027 Criminal Law & Immigration Project Extern

Externs will engage in legal and policy research, aid in preparing advocacy documents and court filings, and lend support to legislative or community initiatives. They might also take part in hearings, meetings with decision-makers, and observe different court sessions. Applicants should be currently enrolled in a law school or a graduate program in areas such as criminal justice, public policy, or a similar discipline. Candidates are expected to embody a strong dedication to social justice and the core mission of the ACLU.
