Job Summary
The Field Applications Engineer plays a crucial role in enhancing sales success by delivering specialized technical knowledge, aiding in the development of product specifications, and resolving issues related to customer applications. This position also involves educating the sales force through technical training and acting as the main contact for customer support and failure analysis.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to facilitate sales conversion.
- Assist in defining product specifications to meet customer needs.
- Troubleshoot and address customer system application challenges.
- Conduct technical training sessions for sales teams.
- Act as a primary point of contact for conducting failure analysis.
- Offer ongoing customer support and resolution guidance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or electrical engineering.
- Over 10 years of experience in semiconductor customer support.
- Excellent communication abilities, effective in engaging with a range of stakeholders, from engineering teams to executives.
