Sr. IT Software Developer
100% Remote (EST Time Zone)
12-Month Contract
$68.57/hr W2
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with extensive cloud experience for a contractor role. This position entails working in a dynamic and collaborative setting with both IT teams and business units to design, code, and conduct unit testing across various technologies, including Cloud, backend, API, and database systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and write code
• Conduct system and unit testing
• Collaborate using story cards and point estimations
• Manage tasking cards
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Draft technical design specifications
• Synchronize requirements and present findings to the technical lead
Essential Skills:
• In-depth experience with AWS cloud services such as Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, Event Bridge, and CloudWatch.
• Proficient in Terraform for managing and provisioning AWS infrastructure.
• Strong programming skills in C#.
• Experience with SQL Server.
• Familiarity with the OpenShift platform and API development.
• Knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture implementation patterns.
• Excellent abilities in communication, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and teamwork.
Desirable Skills and Experiences:
• Experience in developing and sustaining Integration Tests.
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
– At least 7 years of relevant experience in programming and supporting software applications.
– {OR} Completion of a technical training program combined with 4 years of relevant experience in programming and supporting software applications.
– {OR} A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology or a related field (such as Engineering, Mathematics, or Science) along with 4 years of relevant experience in programming and supporting software applications.
