Job Summary
The role involves guiding engineering teams in the creation, implementation, and maintenance of scalable AI and machine learning models, as well as pipelines and platforms. The position also focuses on establishing best practices in enterprise MLOps for deployment, monitoring, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and performance optimization. The candidate will be responsible for determining technical strategies alongside cross-functional collaborators, advocating for responsible AI usage, and providing mentorship to team members to enhance both business outcomes and engineering standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering teams in the design, development, and maintenance of AI/ML models and platforms.
- Establish MLOps practices for effective deployment, monitoring, and performance tuning.
- Set technical direction and develop roadmaps in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Promote responsible AI initiatives within the organization.
- Mentor team members to drive business value and ensure engineering excellence.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in software, data, or machine learning engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in deploying AI/ML solutions in production environments.
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role and with cloud platform services.
- Experience with MLOps, automated CI/CD processes, and model monitoring.
- A relevant graduate degree is preferred, along with healthcare experience.
- Knowledge of Generative AI/LLM and responsible AI is a valuable asset.
