Job description
The Mortgage Loan Originator plays a crucial role in generating loans by conducting outside sales outreach and engaging with potential borrowers to evaluate their financial details and introduce suitable loan options. This position also includes the responsibility of mentoring and training newly onboarded mortgage loan team members. Applicants should possess at least a high school diploma or GED and have a minimum of five years of experience in the mortgage lending industry. Candidates must have, or be able to acquire, NMLS registration, along with a comprehensive understanding of mortgage compliance and regulations.
