Job Summary
The Janitorial Manager is responsible for directing and managing regular cleaning tasks, floor maintenance, and specialized services in various commercial establishments. This role involves supervising the janitorial team, overseeing budget management and labor resources, while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and contractual obligations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily cleaning operations and maintenance for multiple commercial properties.
- Supervise custodial staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and service.
- Manage budgetary constraints and labor requirements effectively.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and contractual standards.
- Coordinate special cleaning services as necessary.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in managing janitorial service operations.
- Experience working with unionized staff in large-scale facilities.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Proficient in computer applications related to facility management.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
