Job Summary
The Senior Program Manager is tasked with overseeing intricate aerospace programs, ensuring that they meet both business goals and client expectations. This role encompasses the definition of program parameters, oversight of financial resources and schedules, and collaboration with various departments to facilitate successful program delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of aerospace programs while ensuring they align with strategic business goals.
- Define the scope of programs and manage budgets and schedules effectively.
- Coordinate efforts across cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives.
- Implement risk mitigation strategies to preemptively address potential challenges.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of program management experience, ideally in the aerospace sector.
- Strong background in risk management and financial oversight.
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field is preferred.
- Must obtain a PMP or CAPM certification within the first six months of employment.
