Job Summary
The Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (Sr SDET) plays a critical role in enhancing product quality through the development and implementation of comprehensive testing frameworks. This individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that software solutions meet established quality standards and fulfill user expectations.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated test scripts to validate product functionality.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify testing requirements early in the software development lifecycle.
- Execute tests, analyze results, and provide insights to improve product quality.
- Develop and maintain testing frameworks that ensure scalability and efficiency.
- Mentor junior team members on best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on code quality and test coverage.
- Work with product managers to understand and verify requirements and acceptance criteria.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in software development and testing.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and automation tools.
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
