Job Summary
The Security Engineer plays a vital role in enhancing the organization’s security posture by identifying, evaluating, and addressing vulnerabilities. This position involves the development of internal security tools and the upkeep of security procedures. Additionally, the engineer will engage in Purple and Red Team exercises, conduct code reviews, and deliver insightful threat intelligence to various internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and remediate security vulnerabilities.
- Develop and maintain internal security tools.
- Conduct Purple and Red Team exercises.
- Perform code reviews to ensure security best practices.
- Provide actionable threat intelligence to support internal teams.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Linux administration and managing production Kubernetes environments.
- Proficiency in programming languages, particularly Python or Go.
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to work onsite in Bastrop, TX.
