Job Summary
The position focuses on the design, development, and testing of software functionalities specifically for flight management systems used in military aircraft. The successful candidate will work closely with both systems and software engineering teams to establish requirements and address intricate technical problems.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop software features for military aircraft flight management systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define system requirements.
- Conduct testing on software to ensure quality and performance standards.
- Resolve complex technical issues that arise during the development process.
Qualifications
- STEM degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3 years of applicable experience.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, ADA, or Python.
- Experience using software tools such as DOORS.
- At least 4 years of experience in a systems engineering role.
