Job Summary
The Lead Attorney will oversee the in-depth examination, negotiation, and normalization of vendor contracts and statements of work. In addition, this role involves providing guidance on data protection and security challenges while integrating AI tools to enhance contract management processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage the detailed review and negotiation of vendor agreements and statements of work.
- Standardize vendor contracts to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Advise the organization on risks associated with data privacy and security.
- Implement artificial intelligence tools to improve the efficiency of contract procedures.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree is required.
- Admittance to the New York State Bar is mandatory.
- A minimum of seven years of relevant experience in a professional services context.
- Extensive knowledge of technology contracts, data privacy regulations, and intellectual property law.
