Job Summary
The Data Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the complete lifecycle of data pipelines, focusing on aspects of data ingestion, orchestration, and materialization to guarantee reliability. This role includes the development of observability tools, management of Snowflake infrastructure, and collaboration with analytics engineers to foster the organization’s data-centric growth initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and management of end-to-end data pipelines.
- Ensure the reliability of data through effective ingestion and orchestration strategies.
- Develop and implement observability tools for enhanced data monitoring.
- Manage and optimize the Snowflake infrastructure.
- Collaborate with analytics engineering teams to promote data utilization for organizational growth.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the field of data engineering.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
- Experience with Snowflake and dbt for data management.
- Demonstrated ability to build dependable production systems.
- Familiarity with infrastructure management using Terraform.
