Job Summary
The Staff Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the design and development of mechanical components, assemblies, and subsystems tailored for autonomous systems and counter-UAS defense initiatives. This position involves collaboration with diverse teams to tackle integration issues and facilitate the movement of designs from initial prototypes to full-scale production.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components for autonomous and counter-UAS systems.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to address integration challenges.
- Support the transition of designs from prototype stages to mass production.
Qualifications
- Over 10 years of experience in mechanical design within aerospace, defense, or robotics sectors.
- Proficient in CAD modeling and understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field is mandatory.
- Adherence to U.S. export control laws and ITAR regulations is essential.
