Job Summary
The Surgical Technician collaborates with the surgical team to support the surgeon by overseeing instruments, supplies, and equipment during procedures. This role is essential in maintaining high standards of care and upholding strict aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety throughout surgical interventions.
Responsibilities
- Assist the surgical team by managing surgical instruments and supplies.
- Maintain an aseptic environment to prevent infections during surgeries.
- Ensure equipment is properly prepared and available for surgical procedures.
- Provide quality care to patients during the surgical process.
Qualifications
- Current WA State Surgical Technologist Registration.
- AHA/BLS certification required.
- Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program is preferred.
- At least two years of experience in an acute care or multi-specialty healthcare setting is preferred.
