Job Summary
The Staff Substation Structural Engineer position in Ann Arbor, Michigan focuses on overseeing the structural engineering tasks associated with utility-scale electrical substations and renewable energy projects. This role requires expertise in structural design and the ability to supervise various engineering activities related to substations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and assist in the structural design and procurement processes of electrical substations.
- Provide oversight for projects related to energy utilities and renewable sources.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with project stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in structural engineering, specifically in substation design.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and the knowledge of relevant engineering software.
- Ability to pass a criminal/civil background check and drug screening.
