Job Summary
The Staff Substation Structural Engineer will be based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and is responsible for the design and supervision of structural components related to utility-scale electrical substations. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, especially in the areas of energy and renewable resources. The engineer will also support various stages of the procurement process.
Responsibilities
- Design and oversee structural frameworks for electrical substations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Contribute to the procurement process as needed.
- Conduct thorough evaluations and inspections of structures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver project objectives efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in structural engineering, specifically with utility-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of energy and renewable sector engineering practices.
- Familiarity with the procurement process related to engineering projects.
- Ability to pass a criminal/civil background check and drug screening.
