Job description
The position of Sterile Processing Tech II involves the decontamination, sterilization, and distribution of medical instruments and equipment to uphold patient safety. This role also includes the management of case carts, execution of biological testing, and the maintenance of precise records in line with regulatory requirements. Applicants are required to have a high school diploma or GED and must secure a Registered Central Service Technician Certificate within the first three months of employment. A solid understanding of surgical instruments and proficiency in operating different sterilization and cleaning machinery are essential for this role.
