Job description
The Sterile Processing Technician I plays a crucial role in the decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and proper storage of medical instruments and equipment used in patient care. This position is essential to the smooth functioning of hospital operations by ensuring a maintained sterile inventory and adherence to all sterilization criteria as outlined in established protocols. Applicants must have a High School Diploma or an equivalent GED. It is also necessary to obtain certification as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician or CBSPD Technician within 365 days of employment.
