Job Summary
Kaiser Permanente in Woodland is looking for a Sterile Processing Technician II to join their team. This position is essential for ensuring the proper decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of operating room sets, as well as the distribution of necessary supplies. The technician will also be responsible for various aspects of equipment management related to surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Decontaminate and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
- Assemble operating room sets according to specific protocols.
- Distribute sterilized supplies efficiently to various departments.
- Perform routine maintenance and checks on sterilization equipment.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited sterile processing program or Surgical Technician training.
- Relevant experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Understanding of sterilization processes and infection control protocols.
