Job Summary
The Structural Engineer (SE – Civil/Truss) role is essential in ensuring the integrity and design of various structural components within projects. This position focuses on applying engineering principles to meet specific client needs and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze structural systems, specifically trusses, ensuring compliance with applicable codes.
- Collaborate with architects and other engineering professionals to create efficient and safe designs.
- Prepare detailed structural plans and calculations for review and implementation.
- Ensure that all projects are completed within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Engage in continuous communication with stakeholders to facilitate project progression.
- Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends and advancements in structural engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Possession of a Structural Engineer (SE) license or Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
- Demonstrated experience in structural engineering, specifically with truss systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration.
- Proficiency in structural engineering software and tools.
