Job Summary
The Structural Engineer (SE – Civil/Truss) position at Alpine, a prominent company under ITW, involves utilizing advanced building component software to design and oversee civil structures. This role is critical in ensuring the structural integrity and compliance of various engineering projects in Charleston, South Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Engage in the design and analysis of structural systems, focusing on truss systems and various civil engineering challenges.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop efficient engineering solutions.
- Prepare detailed engineering documents, including drawings and specifications.
- Perform structural assessments to determine compliance with safety codes.
Qualifications
- Possession of an active Structural Engineer (SE) license or a Professional Engineer (PE) designation is required.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is necessary.
