Job Summary
We are seeking a Structural Engineer (SE – Civil/Truss) to join our team in Detroit, Michigan. This position, based onsite, requires the expertise of a licensed Structural Engineer or a Professional Engineer actively pursuing licensure. As part of Alpine, an ITW company, you will be instrumental in delivering innovative building component solutions that enhance our industry positioning.
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze structural systems focusing on trusses and other components.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely project completion.
- Prepare technical documents and reports in compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project requirements and status.
- Utilize building component software and equipment effectively in project execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field with a focus on structural engineering.
- Possession of a Structural Engineer (SE) license or active pursuit of Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in engineering software.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
