Job description
Structural Engineer
Remote

The Structural Engineer will provide support for scaffolding, structural shoring, temporary structures, construction engineering, reshoring, etc. The structural engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and reviewing structural systems for a variety of projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial developments. This role will collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and project managers to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective designs. Structural Engineer Responsibilities:
- Design structural components and systems using industry standards and best practices
- Perform load calculations, structural analysis, and material selection
- Prepare and review drawings, specifications, and technical reports
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural designs
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design plans
- Review and approve shop drawings and construction documents
- Ensure all designs meet local, state, and federal regulations and codes
Structural Engineer Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred (or ability to obtain)
- 3+ years of relevant structural engineering experience
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, or similar)
- Strong understanding of building codes and construction practices
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
