Job Summary
The Structural/Mechanical Engineer at Stratolaunch will focus on advancing the development of reusable testbeds designed for high-speed testing at Mach 5 and beyond. The role involves contributing to projects that require innovative engineering solutions in an operationally realistic environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze structural components and mechanical systems for high-speed testbeds.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational testing capabilities.
- Conduct simulations and testing to validate engineering designs and ensure performance standards.
- Prepare detailed documentation and reports on engineering specifications and findings.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical feedback to improve project outcomes.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of engineering experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and mechanical design principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with simulation and modeling software applicable to structural and mechanical engineering.
