Job Summary
The CNC Operator plays a crucial role in interpreting blueprints and managing CNC machinery to manufacture precise and top-quality components. This position demands attention to detail and a proactive approach to machine performance oversight.
Responsibilities
- Read and analyze blueprints to prepare for CNC machine setup and operation.
- Operate CNC machines to create parts that meet quality standards.
- Monitor the performance of machines and adjust settings as necessary to maintain optimal functionality.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on machines to ensure continuous productivity.
- Keep the work environment organized, clean, and safe for optimal operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Basic math skills and the ability to understand and interpret mechanical drawings.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Capability to stand for extended durations and lift weights up to 65 lbs.
