Job Summary
The Chief Seattle Club is seeking a dedicated Substance Use Disorder Professional who will play a crucial role in providing support and treatment for individuals navigating substance use challenges. This position involves working collaboratively with a culturally focused organization that prioritizes the wellbeing of the urban Native community.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focused on substance use recovery.
- Collaborate with community resources to enhance client support.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development related to substance use issues.
Qualifications
- Certification or licensure in a related field is required.
- Experience with substance use disorder treatment and recovery is preferred.
- Cultural competence and a strong understanding of the urban Native community are essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
