Job Summary
The Supervisor plays a pivotal role in guiding the financial planning and analysis department, focusing on budgeting, forecasting, and the development of long-term financial strategies. In addition, this position encompasses the management of rate design and the financial analysis of wholesale power, while also offering strategic advice to the executive team and Board members.
Responsibilities
- Lead the financial planning and analysis operations to ensure effective budgeting and forecasting.
- Oversee the formulation of long-range financial plans.
- Manage the design of rates and conduct financial analyses related to wholesale power.
- Provide strategic recommendations to upper management and the Board to support financial decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 7-10 years of progressively responsible experience in financial planning and analysis, especially in the electric utility industry.
- Supervisory experience in managing financial teams.
- Strong expertise in financial modeling and reporting systems.
