Job Summary
The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing patient care, leading the nursing staff, and ensuring adherence to both state and federal regulations applicable to home health services. This role requires a focus on effective personnel management, from hiring to training and performance evaluation, while also fostering strong relationships with referral sources and healthcare partners.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage patient care services delivered by nursing staff.
- Ensure that the nursing team complies with all relevant home health regulations.
- Oversee the hiring, training, and evaluation of nursing personnel.
- Maintain constructive relationships with referral sources and various healthcare agencies.
Qualifications
- Must be a registered nurse with a minimum of three years of experience in home health or home infusion.
- Preferred candidates will have at least two years of supervisory experience.
- Current driver’s license is required.
- BLS/CPR certification is mandatory.
