Job Summary
The Production Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing second-shift manufacturing activities to guarantee adherence to schedules, compliance with quality standards, and alignment with regulatory requirements. This position leads production team members and collaborates closely with maintenance and scheduling departments to address and resolve any operational challenges.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee second-shift operations in manufacturing.
- Ensure strict compliance with production schedules and quality parameters.
- Provide guidance and support to production staff.
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
- Coordinate with maintenance and scheduling teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Qualifications
- Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficient leadership and communication skills.
- Strong computer proficiency necessary.
- Familiarity with industrial safety regulations and lean manufacturing practices.
