Job Summary
The role entails leading initiatives aimed at enhancing supplier quality processes and assuring the integrity and functionality of essential components within Sentry’s various commodity sectors. This position requires close collaboration with engineering teams to perform audits, oversee supplier performance metrics, and carry out root cause analysis, thus upholding stringent quality benchmarks.
Responsibilities
- Drive supplier quality enhancement initiatives across different commodity families.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to conduct thorough audits.
- Monitor and manage supplier performance metrics.
- Execute root cause analysis to identify quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with established quality standards throughout the supplier network.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- Experience in manufacturing or quality assurance within the aerospace or defense industries.
- Familiarity with quality methodologies such as FMEA, APQP, and PPAP.
- Capability to obtain a U.S. TS/SCI security clearance.
