Job Summary
The Supplier Quality Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring that materials and components supplied to the company meet the highest quality standards. This position focuses on developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers while conducting audits, assessments, and ongoing evaluations to uphold quality compliance throughout the supply chain.
Responsibilities
- Conduct supplier audits to assess compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with suppliers to enhance their quality systems and processes.
- Monitor supplier performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement quality metrics for supplier evaluations.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues related to supplied materials.
- Prepare and present quality reports to management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in quality engineering or supplier management.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
