Job Summary
The Supply Specialist plays a crucial role in managing the hospital’s inventory by handling the receipt, storage, and monitoring of supplies. This position entails ensuring that supply requests are met efficiently while maintaining operational standards within the supply areas.
Responsibilities
- Receive and store inventory for the hospital’s needs.
- Monitor stock levels and fulfill supply requests promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas.
- Manage and dispose of expired items appropriately.
- Coordinate the shipment and receipt of materials to ensure seamless supply operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of one year of relevant work experience.
- Ability to effectively follow verbal instructions.
- Proficiency in operating material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, safely.
