Job description
**Surgical Scheduler**
The Surgical Scheduler is responsible for overseeing pre-surgical paperwork, coordinating surgical procedures with both vendors and clinical teams, and serving as the main point of contact for patients. Key duties include maintaining comprehensive surgical logs, managing insurance appeals, and arranging both pre- and post-operative appointments. Applicants should possess a high school diploma or its equivalent, along with 1-3 years of experience in surgical scheduling or a medical office. Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Epic, as well as an understanding of insurance and prior authorization procedures, is highly desirable.
