The Emergency Department Patient Care Technician plays a vital role in delivering direct patient care and handling administrative responsibilities within the Emergency Department. This position involves working closely with registered nurses to observe patients, conduct procedures such as EKGs, and ensure precise medical documentation is maintained. Applicants are required to possess a valid Rhode Island Certified Nursing Assistant registration and BLS certification. A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification is desirable, in addition to fundamental computer skills and familiarity with medical terminology.
