Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist position in Corvallis, Oregon is dedicated to delivering outstanding care to patients within a dynamic surgical environment. As a vital member of the healthcare team, the Surgical Technologist will collaborate closely with medical practitioners, helping ensure the efficiency and safety of surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining aseptic and sterile techniques throughout surgical processes.
- Prepare the operating room by arranging instruments and supplies needed for surgeries.
- Support surgeons and other medical staff by providing necessary tools during operations.
- Participate in the cleaning and sterilization of surgical instruments post-operation.
- Help in managing patient care indirectly by ensuring all surgical requirements are met.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a Main Operating Room setting preferred.
- Certification in surgical technology or completion of an accredited surgical technologist program.
- Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and sterile processing.
- Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
