Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist (CST) for the Operating Room in General Surgery will play a crucial role in the surgical team by ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available for procedures. This position is located in Willimantic, Connecticut, and offers a sign-on bonus to successful candidates. The professional will support high-quality patient care in a state-of-the-art environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures by preparing the operating room with the appropriate instruments and sterile supplies.
- Maintain aseptic conditions and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff to facilitate efficient and successful surgeries.
- Manage surgical instruments and equipment effectively throughout procedures.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) is required.
- Experience in a surgical setting, particularly in general surgery, is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and patient care practices.
- Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work in a team-oriented environment.
