Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist (CST) for the Operating Room specializing in General Surgery plays a critical role in delivering quality surgical care. This position is vital in ensuring patient safety and supporting surgical teams in a fast-paced environment, where every second is crucial.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate surgical procedures by assisting in maintaining a sterile environment.
- Prepare and organize surgical instruments and supplies for operations.
- Support surgical teams, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient operation.
- Promote patient safety and comfort throughout surgical procedures.
Qualifications
- A minimum of one year of experience in surgical technology or operating room.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and surgical protocols.
