Job Summary
The Harris Health System is looking for a dedicated Surgical Technologist II to join the team at Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital in Houston, Texas. This position involves providing support to the surgical staff, upholding high standards of aseptic technique, and ensuring that the operating room is adequately prepared and secure for surgeries.
Responsibilities
- Assist the surgical team during operations.
- Maintain a sterile field by adhering to aseptic protocols.
- Prepare and organize surgical instruments and supplies for procedures.
- Ensure the operating room is clean, safe, and equipped for surgeries.
Qualifications
- Proficient understanding of surgical instruments and their uses.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
- Knowledge of infection control procedures and practices.
- Previous experience in a surgical setting is preferred.
