Job Summary
We are currently in search of meticulous Surgical Technologists to become part of our dedicated Operating Room (OR) team in Glens Falls, New York. This role is vital in facilitating a sterile and productive surgical environment, contributing significantly to patient care and safety.
Responsibilities
- Ensure a sterile field is maintained during surgical procedures.
- Assist in the positioning of patients for surgical interventions.
- Manage surgical instruments and supplies, including the handling of sharps.
- Provide support to the surgical team as needed throughout the procedure.
- Participate in the preparation and organization of the OR prior to surgeries.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Surgical Technologist or in a related field is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a sterile environment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a surgical team.
- Knowledge of surgical instruments and their proper use.
