Job Summary
We are looking for meticulous Surgical Technologists to become part of our dedicated Operating Room (OR) team in Glens Falls, New York. In this vital role, you will play a key part in facilitating a safe and sterile environment for surgical procedures, contributing significantly to patient care and the overall efficiency of the surgical process.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a sterile field and ensure that all necessary instruments and supplies are readily available during surgical operations.
- Assist with patient positioning and prepare the surgical site as per the protocol.
- Support the surgical team by anticipating their needs and providing assistance throughout the procedure.
- Handle sharps and other surgical materials safely and efficiently.
Qualifications
- A valid certification as a Surgical Technologist.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a sterile surgical environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Prior experience in an operating room setting is preferred.
