Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our team in Portland, OR. This position offers an attractive weekly pay ranging from $2,241 to $2,941. The selected candidate will work onsite in a dynamic and high-acuity acute care setting, focusing on providing excellent patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Assist surgical teams by preparing operating rooms and ensuring all necessary surgical instruments and supplies are available for procedures.
- Maintain a sterile environment to minimize the risk of infection during surgical procedures.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons and nursing staff to ensure smooth operation before, during, and after surgeries.
- Handle and arrange surgical instruments during operations to enhance the workflow of the surgical team.
- Monitor patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures, providing necessary support as required.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Surgical Technologist.
- Prior experience working in a high-acuity hospital environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of surgical procedures and protocols.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding setting.
