Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist – OR role in Urbana, Illinois involves providing essential support in the operating room. This position offers a bonus and requires the Surgical Technician to deliver safe and efficient care to patients during surgical procedures. Responsibilities
- Function as a primary or assisting Surgical Technician during various surgical operations.
- Maintain a safe and effective surgical environment by applying strict sterile techniques.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, and microbiology to support surgical teams.
- Prepare and organize the operating room and instruments for surgical procedures.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in sterile techniques and surgical procedures.
- Understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Experience or formal training in surgical technology is preferred.
