Job Summary
The Technical Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily clinical and operational activities within the Mammography section. This position requires effective management of staff, coordination of workflows, and performance assessments to maintain high-quality services. The supervisor is also responsible for ensuring adherence to departmental policies, quality benchmarks, and regulatory standards, all while prioritizing patient safety and service excellence.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and clinical activities in the Mammography section.
- Supervise and manage staff performance and development.
- Coordinate workflows to optimize operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with departmental policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support and enhance patient safety and quality of service.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Graduation from an AMA-approved program in Radiologic Technology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or Nuclear Medicine.
- A valid New York State license and current registration with ARRT, ARDMS, or an equivalent body.
- Minimum of three years of progressive leadership experience in a relevant clinical environment.
